Working remotely with UK businesses

Hire a WordPress & Full-Stack Developer in the UK

Most of my agency work is for the UK. As part of a UK digital agency team I develop and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce sites hosted on WP Engine, for clients from charities and recruiters to garages, wine merchants and engineering firms. The UK working day overlaps my afternoon and evening in India, so calls, reviews and releases happen in your hours.

Hiring from UK: questions

Do you have an office in UK?

No. I work remotely from Kolkata, India, and have done so with clients in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. You deal with me directly, with no agency or marketplace in between.

Which hours can we work together?

Kolkata is 5½ h ahead of London time. A 9:00–18:00 day in London is 14:30–23:30 IST for me, and I schedule calls inside your working day.

Can you quote in GBP?

Yes. Tell me your preferred currency in the brief and the written quote will use it. Fixed-price projects are usually paid by milestone, and ongoing support monthly.

Will you sign an NDA or work under our contract?

Yes. NDAs are fine, and I can work under your own contract or terms. Code, access and documentation are handed over at the end of the project.

What do clients in UK usually hire you for?

White-label development for UK agencies, WP Engine maintenance and security clean-ups, Headless WordPress for marketing teams, Technical SEO audits and fixes.
