SwimWay is a UK swim school with a Next.js front end that reads content from WordPress. Its booking and enquiry forms had stopped working in production. I traced the cause to custom mu-plugins that were on staging but had never been deployed to production, then fixed and deployed them.

What I built

Public form schema

A mu-plugin lets the front end read a Contact Form 7 form's fields without logging in, and hides the mail settings.

Environment parity

Lined up the plugins on staging and production so forms work the same on both.

Debugging

Diagnosed the fault from the front end's own errors instead of guessing.
